G&L Shift at Barcelona International Community Day 2025 – A Successful Event!

On Saturday, October 25, 2025, the Barcelona Maritime Museum opened its doors to over 5,400 visitors representing more than 127 nationalities, transforming the venue into a vibrant hub of opportunities, connections, and inspiration for the city’s international community. Barcelona International Community Day (BICD) is the city’s leading annual event that celebrates its diverse global talent. Organized by Barcelona City Council, this 12th edition brought together professionals, entrepreneurs, families, and newcomers eager to connect, learn, and thrive in their new home.

G&L Shift’s Role in the Event

We at G&L Shift were proud to participate once again in this important gathering dedicated to expatriates and internationally minded professionals. Our team had the pleasure of welcoming dozens of attendees at our booth, discussing our specialized expat coaching and leadership development programs. We explored how our services can help them maximize their potential and succeed in multicultural environments.

A Special Moment: Our Conference on Maximizing Professional Potential

A highlight of the day was the conference delivered by Sandrine Gelin-Lamrani on “Maximizing your professional potential: essential practices and tools.” The session invited participants to reflect, exchange insights, and discover actionable strategies to excel professionally while living abroad. Feedback from attendees was overwhelmingly positive. One participant shared: “This session made me rethink what version of myself I want to build next. The practical tools provided were truly valuable.”
